In Gardenize online gardening journal, you document all information about your garden. By defining the different areas you have you can connect plants you have added to Gardenize to them.
The area list is sorted alphabetically and has two different views that you can choose in the top of the screen. It’s working in the same way as the plant list.
You can search among your areas in the to search row.
1. Area details
On the area detailed page, you can add one or more photos of your area. Click the little flower in the top corner of the photo to select your favorite. The favorite photo will represent your area in other views in Gardenize.
2. Area info
You can add information to your garden area in a variety of fields.
Most important is off course the Area name that you assign, but you can also set information about:
- Area type – you create your own list of area types
3. Connect plants to an area
In most cases, you have several plants in one area. You can connect as many plants as you want to each area. You simply click “Manage” and you will get a bar of all your plants at the bottom of the screen. If you have many plants you can search using plant name, scientific name, type or variety. To add or remove plants you drag and drop.
4. Add an event to an area
When you add an event to an area, you get a pop-up screen where you enter some basic information like the activity type and some notes. When you have saved it, you can go back and add photos and more information if you like.
